Genetic improvement of tilapia for Kansas conditions

Is there a program like this in Kansas, possibly either at KU or K-State?

Ohio Genetic Improvement of Farmed-fish Traits (OGIFT) Program

I dont know of a program like that here in Kansas.  Hopefully one exists.  If not, it should.
